Welcome!
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about the opportunities for personal and emotional growth through Tails of Change Therapy. We hope you fall in love with the process of becoming the very best version of yourself.
Here at Tails of Change Therapy you will find both traditional office-based therapy as well as a team approach to treating mental health conditions through the use of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy working within the EAGALA model.

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) is an experiential and solution-focused treatment model that works with a mental health professional, equine specialist, and horses to treat mental health issues. Horses offer instant and accurate reflections of human emotion without criticism or judgement. This provides clients the opportunity to gain insight about their internal struggles through experiencing the patterns and metaphors that emerge during their interactions with the horses.

EAP focuses primarily on the treatment of emotional and mental health concerns. All sessions are ground-based and no previous horse or riding experience is necessary to benefit from the sessions.

Because we learn through doing, EAP services often provide clients the chance to grow and change in less time than traditional talk-therapy models; therefore, making it a brief therapy option.
